Avianca informs flexibility to make changes in its flights to passengers with sales until May 19th, 2025 and confirmed reservations between May 20th and 25th, 2025, in flights to or from the International Airport of Maiquetía Simón Bolivar (CCS), due to the suspension of commercial aviation operations from Colombia to Venezuela. Includes the option to change route to Camilo Daza International Airport (CUC) in Cúcuta.
This flexibility of re-accommodation applies to flights 8 days before or up to 30 days after the original itinerary. Similarly, the customer may move their return flight with the same conditions of the affected route, even if it is not affected, as long as it is on the same ticket or they are on different tickets, but both are Avianca's domain
Conditions for waiver application:
- Fly 8 days before or 30 days after the date of the original affected flight.
- For refunds apply according to the established procedure: https://www.avianca.com/es/tu-reserva/cambios-y-reembolsos/
- There is no penalty charge for itinerary changes.
- No fee difference is charged.
- Includes the option to change the route to CUC (Cucuta).
- Not applicable for change of cabin.
- The change applies to the same route or common points and same cabin according to availability.
- The process for Amadeus agencies must be performed as a voluntary change management as it is parameterized by DW.
- Non-Amadeus agencies should follow the instructions in the self-service change management process for travel agencies.
- Applies to group reservations with deposit, without ticketing.
- Applies to group reservations with tickets issued.
