Exemption notification due to airport restrictions - DW 260730PPN
Avianca informs flexibility for making changes to flights for passengers with confirmed bookings for July 30, 2026, on flights to or from Popayán due to airport restrictions at Guillermo León Valencia Airport in Popayán (NOTAM PPN).
Waiver Application Conditions:
- Applies to all channels.
- For Contact Center: According to the PROCEDURE FOR PASSENGER EXEMPTIONS DUE TO IRREGULARITIES published in Docbox.
- For refunds: Applies according to the procedure established at https://www.avianca.com/es/mi-reserva/servicios/reembolsos
For agencies and website:
a) Travel up to 30 days after the original affected flight date.
b) No itinerary change penalty fee applies.
c) No fare difference fee applies.
d) Does not apply for cabin upgrades or class changes.
e) The change applies to the same route or common points.
f) The process for Amadeus agencies must be executed as a voluntary change management since it is parameterized by DW.
g) Non-Amadeus agencies must follow the self-management change instructions for travel agencies.
h) Applies to group bookings with deposit, without ticket issuance.
i) Applies to group bookings with issued tickets.
