Airport Restrictions Waiver Notice - DW 260727PPN
Avianca informs passengers with confirmed bookings between July 22 and July 27, 2026, on flights to or from Popayán, that travel flexibility measures are in place to allow flight changes due to airport restrictions at Guillermo León Valencia Airport in Popayán (NOTAM PPN).
Waiver Application Conditions:
- Applies to all channels.
- For Contact Center: In accordance with the PASSENGER WAIVER PROCEDURE FOR OPERATIONAL IRREGULARITIES published on Docbox.
- For refunds: Applies according to the established procedure at https://www.avianca.com/es/mi-reserva/servicios/reembolsos
For Travel Agencies and Website:
a) Travel within 15 days following the original affected flight date.
b) No itinerary change penalty applies.
c) No fare difference collection applies.
d) Cabin upgrade/downgrade is not permitted.
e) Changes must be on the same route or co-terminal points.
f) Amadeus agencies must process this as a voluntary change, as it is parameterized via DW.
g) Non-Amadeus agencies must follow the instructions outlined in the self-service change procedure for travel agencies.
h) Applies to group bookings with deposits and unissued tickets.
i) Applies to group bookings with issued tickets.
