Flexibility measures are activated for passengers traveling on August 10 and 11, 2026, on domestic flights in Colombia as a result of the earthquake in Colombia.
Applies to passengers with domestic flights in Colombia operated by Avianca from August 10 at 07:30 to 23:59 hours on August 11, 2026.
Conditions for waiver application:
Applies to change the flight date up to 15 days after the original flight.
Route change allowed via a common point.
No itinerary change penalty fee applies.
No fare difference fee applies.

Applies to all fares.
The change applies within the same cabin.
Exemption does not apply to cabin upgrades/changes.
If the traveler has checked baggage, internal handling must be ensured.
No compensation applies to customers who miss connections.
Changes depend on the availability of flights open for sale published in the GDS.
The exemption applies to booked and confirmed groups provided they hold an AVG ticket stock/plate.
Applies to group bookings with deposits, without ticket issuance.
Group bookings with issued tickets.
Applies to all channels; itinerary changes are only allowed for customers with flight dates on August 10 and 11, 2026, on domestic Colombia routes, including local and connecting passengers.
Whenever the passenger chooses a route change, they must cover their own transportation to or from their new destination.
