Due to seismic activity recorded in various regions of the country, flexible travel options have been enabled to assist passengers with confirmed bookings on domestic flights in Colombia scheduled to travel on August 10 and 11, 2026.
Below are the authorized self-service options available to customers at no additional cost:
Waiver Application Conditions:
Date Change:
Date modifications are allowed up to 15 days after the original travel date.
No penalty fee or fare difference will apply.
Subject to availability and maintaining the same cabin / original fare class.
Rerouting (Change of Route):
Itinerary changes are permitted only through common points within Colombia, subject to availability.
Extension of Flexibility to the Return Flight:
If the return flight is under the same ticket or another ticket operated by Avianca, it may be modified under the same terms of this waiver, even if that specific leg is not directly affected.
Refunds:
Requests or processing must be managed directly by the issuing agency via BSPLink or Aviancatrade, applying the waiver in accordance with current policy.
