Flexibility measures have been activated for passengers as a result of the earthquake in Colombia.
Route: Domestic or international flights departing from or arriving in PEI, CLO, AXM, UIB.
Flight date: From August 10 to 30, 2026.
Conditions:
Date change: They can reschedule before or after their original travel date, up to September 30, 2026, at the latest, with no penalty or fare difference, subject to availability.
Route change: Via a common point without penalty or fare difference. For PEI, AXM, and UIB, CLO, BOG, and MDE are additionally established as common points due to the contingency. In these cases, the passenger must arrange their own transportation to or from their new destination.
Refund: Full refund for unused flight segments.
Considerations:
A new reaccommodation is allowed for passengers whose original flight is to or from Pereira, even if they have already used the initial waiver (including reaccommodation via common points).
Applies to connecting passengers.
Applies to all fares.
The change applies to the same cabin class as the original flight.
If the traveler has checked baggage, it must be ensured that it was handled internally by the airport.
No compensation applies to customers who miss their connections.
Changes are subject to the availability of flights open for sale published in the GDS.
The waiver applies to reserved and confirmed groups, provided they hold an AVG ticket plate.
Applies to group bookings with a deposit, even without ticket issuance.
Applies to all sales channels.
Applies to passengers with origin or destination in MZL (codeshare), provided their ticket is issued under Avianca plate.
