Avianca informs passengers with confirmed reservations on August 12, 2026, on flights to or from Popayán, that flexible flight change options are available due to airport restrictions at Guillermo León Valencia Airport in Popayán (PPN NOTAM).
Waiver Application Conditions:
Applies to all sales channels.
For Contact Center: According to the "PASSENGER WAIVER PROCEDURE FOR IRREGULARITIES" published on Docbox.
For refunds: Applies according to the established procedure at https://www.avianca.com/es/mi-reserva/servicios/reembolsos

For agencies and website:
a) Travel date up to August 31, 2026.
b) Penalty fee for itinerary change is waived.
c) Fare difference is waived.
d) Does not apply for cabin upgrades/changes.
e) The change applies to the same route or co-terminal/common points.
f) For Amadeus agencies, the process must be handled as a voluntary change since it is parametrized by DW.
g) Non-Amadeus agencies must follow the self-management change instructions for travel agencies.
h) Applies to group reservations with a deposit, prior to ticket issuance.
i) Applies to group reservations with issued tickets.
