Notification Waiver for LHR Airport Restrictions – DW 260908 LHR
Flexibility measures are activated for passengers with confirmed bookings on September 8, 2026, departing from London due to airport restrictions at London Heathrow International Airport.
Conditions:
- Date change: Passengers may reschedule before or after their original travel date, up to September 23, 2026, with no penalty or fare difference, subject to availability.
- Route change: Permitted via co-terminal/common point with no penalty or fare difference. MAD, CDG, and BCN are established as common points for LHR. In these cases, passengers must arrange their own ground transportation to/from the alternative destination.
- Refund: Full refund for unused segments.
Key Guidelines:
- Applies to local and connecting passengers.
- Applies to all fare types.
- Changes apply to the original cabin class booked.
- If the passenger has checked baggage, airport authorities must verify it has been handled internally.
- No compensation applies to passengers with missed connections.
- Changes are subject to seat availability published for sale in the GDS.
- The waiver applies to confirmed group bookings provided they are issued on AVG ticket stock.
- Applies to group bookings with a deposit, prior to ticketing.
- Applies to all tickets issued through any sales channel.
