Flexibility measures are activated for passengers due to roadworks on Vía Las Palmas - MDE Airport.
Passengers with confirmed AVAGIL tickets departing from MDE with a travel date of September 11, 2026, between 08:30 and 23:59.
Likewise, passengers may reschedule their return flight under the same conditions as the affected segment, even if the return flight is unaffected, provided both segments are on the same ticket or on separate tickets that are both issued under Avianca’s domain.
Conditions:
Date change: Reaccommodation on September 11, 2026.
Route change: Permitted via common points without penalty or fare difference. In these cases, the passenger must cover their own transportation to or from the new destination.
Refund: Applies according to the established procedure.
Considerations:
Applies to all fare types.
Changes apply in the same cabin as the original flight.
If the passenger has checked baggage, internal handling by airport staff must be confirmed.
Compensation does not apply to passengers who miss connections.
Changes are subject to flight availability open for sale in the GDS.
The waiver applies to reserved and confirmed groups with an AVG ticket stock/plate.
Applies to group reservations with deposits, even without ticket issuance.
