Flexibility measures are activated for passengers to make changes to their flights for passengers with confirmed reservations from October 3 to October 9, 2026, on flights to or from Popayán, due to restrictions that prevent operations under Avianca's safety standards at Guillermo León Valencia Airport in Popayán.
Conditions:
Date change: Passengers may reschedule before or after their original travel date, up to October 24, 2026, without penalty or fare difference, subject to availability.
Route change: Via common point without penalty or fare difference. For PPN, PSO and CLO are established as common points. In these cases, the passenger must arrange and cover their own transportation to or from their new destination.
Refund: Full refund for unused flight segments.
Considerations:
Applies to local or connecting passengers.
Applies to all fares.
The change applies to the same cabin as the original flight.
If the passenger has checked baggage, it must be verified that it has been handled internally by the airport.
Compensation does not apply to passengers experiencing missed connections.
Changes will depend on flight availability open for sale published in the GDS.
The waiver applies to booked and confirmed groups provided they have an AVG plate/ticket stock.
Applies to group bookings with deposit, without ticket issuance.
Applies to all tickets issued through any sales channel.
