Operational Update Waiver Notification
Avianca informs that, due to a software update required by Airbus worldwide for A320 family aircraft, which will impact a significant portion of our fleet, operations will be affected between November 29 and December 4, 2025.
For this reason, an exemption has been enabled to provide flexibility for rebooking to all passengers whose itineraries are affected, for tickets purchased up to November 29 and confirmed reservations between November 29 and December 4, 2025, allowing travel 8 days before or up to 180 days after the original itinerary.
Conditions for waiver application:
- a) Travel 8 days before or 180 days after the date of the affected original flight.
- b) No penalty applies for itinerary changes.
- c) No fare difference applies.
- d) No route changes is permitted.
- e) No cabin changes is permitted.
- f) Changes apply to the same route or common points in the same cabin, subject to availability.
- g) For Amadeus agencies, the process must be handled as a voluntary change, as it is parameterized by DW.
- h) Non-Amadeus agencies must follow the instructions in the self-service change process for travel agencies.
- i) Applies to group reservations with a deposit, with no tickets issued.
- j) Applies to group reservations with tickets issued.
- k) For refunds, the established procedure for operational updates applies.
